Michelle´s love of the outdoors, led to her passion for horses, and on leaving school in 1989 began work as a BHS trainee riding instructor, teaching people with special needs to ride and care for horses.
Living within walking distance of the River Thames, and with fond memories of her father restoring a wooden launch when she was young, boats had always been of an interest.
A Bucks lass, she moved to Suffolk with her Arab mare in tow and briefly continued working with horses, before opting for a more rewarding profession, working in care. Horses remained a hobby. Over 13 years, progressed within the care profession and her last role was as a Deputy Manager of a residential care home for adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour.
Achieved a Diploma in the Management of Care Services and D32 & 33 NVQ Care Assessor awards.
Turned her back on stressful job, and the rat race to lead a less demanding life, moving to Spain in 2004.
Moving to the unspoilt West Coast of Spain, horses remain her main passion, but she was given the opportunity to develop her knowledge of boats, and utilise her management skills, through buying the franchise for Boatshed Cadiz.
Starting from scratch, it was hard work, in particular establishing the business in a Spanish community, grasping a foreign language, and being a female business woman, in still what is primarily "macho" Andalucia.
A pioneer...........But wouldn´t change any part of my life now!
Spanish can be conversed in addition to English. (some German too)

El amor de Michelle del aire libre, conducido a su pasión para los caballos, y en salir de la escuela en 1989 comenzó el trabajo como instructor del montar a caballo del aprendiz de BHS, gente de la enseñanza con necesidades especiales de montar y de cuidar para.
Sobre 13 años, progresados dentro de la profesión del cuidado y de su papel pasado estaba como director adjunto de un cuidado residencial casero para los adultos con inhabilidades el aprender y comportamiento desafiador.
Dado vuelta le detrás en trabajo agotador, y la raza de la rata de conducir una vida menos exigente, moviéndose a España en 2004.
Moviéndose a la costa del oeste del unspoilt de España, los caballos siguen siendo su pasión principal, pero le dieron la oportunidad de desarrollar su conocimiento de barcos, y utiliza sus habilidades de gerencia, con comprar la licencia para Boatshed Cádiz.
Saliendo de rasguño, era trabajo duro, en el detalle que establecía el negocio en una comunidad española, agarrando un idioma extranjero, y siendo una mujer de negocios femenina, en inmóvil cuál es sobre todo "macho" Andalucia.
